The Urrbrae House Gardens now have their own Street Library located near the Andrewartha Gate on Claremont Avenue.
The Street Library is an invitation to those on the campus and visitors to share the joy of reading. You can simply take a book from the box and when you have finished reading it, return it to the Street Library network, pass it onto friends or keep it.
If anyone has a book they think others would enjoy, just pop it into any Street Library you happen to be walking past.
There are currently 27 street libraries registered across the Adelaide metropolitan area. Of course, our gardens are a perfect place to find a quiet spot in which to catch up on a little reading!
