An ambitious industry-led plan to grow South Australia’s food, wine and agribusiness sectors to $23 billion by 2030 has been launched.
The joint industry and government Food, Wine and Agribusiness sector plan forms part of the State Government’s Growth State initiative and sets out a clear pathway to accelerate economic growth through expansion and innovation.
Development of the plan is the culmination of 18 months of work and consultation led by industry partners Primary Producers South Australia, the South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA) and Food South Australia in partnership with the Department of Primary Industries and Regions and the Department of Trade and Investment.
