The Adelaide University Sports Association, ‘The Blacks’, is looking for Expressions of Interest for the Australian Uni Games, to be held on the Gold Coast 24 – 29 September 2017.
The Australian University Games (AUG) is the largest annual multisport event held in Australia, involving over 8,000 participants from 42 universities. Dubbed as the “best experience of your uni life” the AUG is the perfect mix of a competitive inter-varsity sport and social activities.
Sports contested:
Athletics, AFL, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Cricket, Cycling, Fencing, Futsal, Golf, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Kendo, Lawn Bowls, Netball, Rugby Union 7s, Sailing, Soccer, Softball, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Tenpin Bowling, Touch, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball and Water Polo.
AU Sport provides financial assistance for Elite Athletes, Coaches, Managers, Media Personnel and Qualification Teams.
AUG selections are based on ability, to ensure that the strongest possible team is selected to represent the University and qualify for the AUG.
