You are invited to celebrate Uni Adelaide Giving Day on Thursday 5 September, 1-4pm! The day will be a combined celebration of Peter & Matilda Waite‘s generous bequest that gave us the Waite Campus and Urrbrae House as well as the annual celebration of Giving. We will be celebrating with food, beverages, tours, and the return of the prestigious Bocce Tournament!

Thanks to UniSuper the winning Bocce team can nominate which Giving Day cause will receive $500! Winners will also receive extensive Bragging Rights as well as the Prestigious Peter & Matilda Waite Bocce Trophy! Want to play? Simply register a team of 4-6 players by emailing the team name and players to Jacqui by Friday 31 August.
What else is happening?
Enjoy a relaxed afternoon of Live Music and Picnics! Grazing platters will be available from 1pm along with our best UA produce available for sampling. Tours will also be available of the Arboretum, Urrbrae House, and Gardens. Come and learn more about the campus’ Historic Precinct!
Giving Day opportunities
This year we’re teaming up with the University of Adelaide’s Giving Day, a 24-hour fundraising challenge that aims to support students, leading-edge research, and community programs. The Giving Day website will feature 16 priority funds including the Peter Waite Centenary Scholarships for Excellence in Agriculture and the Waite Redevelopment.
