Now is the time to act!
The Conventions Adelaide Grant Awards Program is an initiative of the Adelaide Convention Bureau, supported by industry partner Adelaide Convention Centre, that is specifically designed to strengthen the destination’s ability to attract major international conventions. The Program consists of grants up to $10,000 AUD ex GST that are available to academic, research or professional staff working within South Australian Institutions which will be awarded in 2019.
Applicants are required to nominate an international conference that has the potential to be held in South Australia; present a short case as to why it should be held in South Australia; and confirm support of a future bid for the conference.
Waite researchers Associate Professor Cassandra Collins and Professor Vladimir Jiranek from the School of Agriculture, Food and Wine were recipients of Conventions Adelaide Grants in 2018.
